Alexander Jeremejeff signs with Panathinaikos
Last season’s top goal scorer in Swedish football, Alexander Jeremejeff, will continue his career in Super League Greece.
The striker has signed a three-year deal with Panathinaikos F.C. from Athens, but will spend the first half of 2023 on loan, as a Levadiakos F.C. player.
Jeremejeff leaves Sweden and BK Häcken after a tremendous 2022 where he was one of the key players on the road to Häcken’s first ever league title. The 29-year-old received the Allsvenskan MVP Award and was named for the Swedish national team.
This will be the third country where Jeremejeff plays football outside Sweden. Back in 2019-2020 he spent about one and a half years in Germany and the Netherlands before returning to Allsvenskan.
However, after scoring 33 goals in 54 games it is time for Jeremejeff to go abroad again.
Panathinaikos are currently in top of the league table.
