We will both consider applicants who are currently enrolled at an educational programme or applicants who recently graduated from a relevant educational programme.
The intern will be included in different assignments related to player development, both strategically for the company and individually with professional players. You will report directly to the agency’s Head of Player Development, Petter Andersson.
The assignments and desired qualifications are as follows:
Studies/has studied statistics
Experience and interest in doing statistical analysis
Experience with automating certain aspects of the statistical analysis (using a programming language such as R or Python)
Comfortable with fetching and working with data from public API:s
You will focus on fetching and analyzing match data to develop statistical models for player development. Most work will be done digitally due to the Covid-19 restrictions but a physical presence in the Stockholm region is a big plus.
Fluency in English, both oral and written will be advantageous. It is also desirable if you have knowledge and is curious about football data and data analysis.
The internship position is non-paid, but Full Potential Agency will cover travel money and expenses and will open up for a possibility to join our team after a successful internship.
