Done Deal: Victor Eriksson joins Minnesota United

Minnesota United announced today that the club has signed Swedish defender Victor Eriksson to a three-year deal, with a club option for 2027.

Eriksson joins MNUFC having been a mainstay for IFK Värnamo of Sweden’s topflight division, Allsvenskan, across the past two seasons. From 2022-2023, the center back made 59 league game appearances for Värnamo and almost played every game.

Internationally, Eriksson has earned two call ups to the Sweden National Team, making his debut appearance with the senior squad for an international friendly on January 9, 2023. The center back started and played 90 minutes during the 2-0 victory over Finland.
