We are happy to announce that Malmö FF is extending the contract with midfielder Samuel Adrian until 2023.

Already as an eight-year-old, Samuel Adrian joined Malmö FF from Blentarps BK. The 22-year-old has taken the road through MFF's youth team before he signed an apprenticeship contract with the association in 2017. The same year he made his debut in the A-team before the following year he got a senior contract with Malmö FF.

2018 was also the year when Samuel Adrian made his debut from the start in MFF next to Bonke Innocent in the central midfield when the team won against BK Häcken with 2-0. He also got the chance in two qualifying matches for the UEFA Champions League.

Last summer, Samuel Adrian was loaned out to Kalmar FF, where unfortunately there were only four matches for the midfielder before he suffered a cruciate ligament injury and returned to Malmö FF.

On September 17 this year, Samuel Adrian made a comeback in a competition context for Malmö FF. The midfielder replaced Oscar Lewicki in the 93rd minute of the match against Budapest Honvéd FC when the team advanced to the qualifiers for the UEFA Europa League. The jump meant Samuel Adrian's first match in 403 days.
