Simon Thern joins IFK Göteborg

Simon Thern will be joining last seasons Swedish Cup winners, IFK Gothenburg on a permanent deal. He has signed a 3-year contract.

The 28-year-old offensive midfielder has won three Swedish Championships, one with Helsingborgs IF and two with Malmö FF.  He also has four international games for the Swedish national team and scored two goals. Now he really looks forward to the next chapter in his career.

During his professional career he has represented clubs as Helsingborgs IF, Malmö FF, Heerenveen, AIK and IFK Norrköping.
